Part One: Product Description
Generally, C5/C9 Copolymerized Hydrocarbon Resin takes C5/C9 fraction as raw material and combine with the catalyst, polymerize the co-polymerization petroleum resin of C5/C9 through cationic polymerization. It owns the advantages of both C5 Petroleum Resin and C9 Petroleum Resin. The main feature is a light color and a higher softening point. Which are widely used in the paint industry, Rubber industry, and adhesive industry
Part Two: Applications
C5/C9 copolymerized hydrocarbon resin are widely used in the hot melt adhesive and other adhesive industry, also used in the rubber &Tyre industry. Which will replace the high-cost C5 petroleum resin by its good property and accepted by the customers.
2.1 In Rubber and Tyre Industry. When mixed it into the rubber, which not only increased the bonding strength among the rubber micelle but also can improve the adhesion between rubber micelle and tire cord.which are used in the high-quality rubber products such as the radial tire.
2.2 In the hot melt adhesive industry. It not only owns the good initial viscosity but also own the advantages of rosin resin, which can improve the viscosity durability and increase the adhesive.
