1. Look at impurities: As colored glass beads are a secondary molding production process, most glass bead factories use flame floatation to produce glass beads. The raw material is recycled glass. Impurities will be involved in the production process and in the raw materials. This impurity is manifested in black spots in the product, which cannot be avoided. However, the less impurities in high-quality colored glass beads are controlled, the better. When you put a handful of glass beads in your hand, if you can see 3-4 black spots with the naked eye, count it as top grade, and less than 3 points is considered top grade! Normally, there are 5-6 black points, more than 8 points are slightly poor quality, and more than 10 points are inferior or unqualified products.
2. Touch the glass beads: Put a small amount of colored glass beads in your hand and rub it. If it feels smooth and round, it means that the roundness is high, the sphericity is good, and it is a good quality glass bead. If you feel stagnant, or paddle your hands, it is a defective product. To
3. Shake the glass beads: put the colored glass beads in a container and shake them left and right or up and down, and then see the layering. Although glass beads are a combination product with different particle sizes, the ratio of particles in each segment has a range, so the layering will be more uniform and there is not much difference. If you see that there are too many fine particles or even half of them in powder form after delamination, then this glass bead product must be unqualified. Under normal circumstances, fine particles will not exceed 10% of the total amount, too much is a substandard product.
